John is a native Houstonian who understands that one of the most frustrating problems drivers deal with on the morning commute is traffic issues. Accidents, stalls, and congestion can add hours to the weekly trek. He believes that timely incident information to drivers is just as important as other news.

Army veteran and amateur radio operator, John has been involved in broadcast radio since 1965. Previously he worked as an airborne traffic reporter for several years and most recently was the local operations manager at Traffic.com.

When possible, John enjoys traveling in his RV with his wife Lynda and their pet dogs Snickers, Spanky and Bailey.
