Gail Delaughter joined KUHF in October 2008 as Saturday morning news anchor and host. A native of New Orleans and a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, Gail has extensive experience in Texas and Louisiana as a radio news reporter and morning show anchor and co-host. She spent six years covering courts and legal issues for Houston radio station KTRH and made numerous appearances on TV news networks, discussing major stories such as the Andrea Yates murder trial and the Anna Nicole Smith probate case. At WWL radio in New Orleans, Gail covered local government and live breaking news, along with producing feature stories and in-depth series. She was honored by the Louisiana Associated Press Broadcasters Association for best sports story and best sound reporting. Here in Houston Gail is also a freelance sports reporter, covering Rockets basketball and Texans football.
