We chat with Jaston Williams, the skinny half of The Greater Tuna duo. He’s premiering his new one-man show Camping with Gasoline in two performances tomorrow at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston. It’s a laugh-filled journey back to Williams’s West Texas childhood, complete with reminiscences of psychotic family Christmases, known fondly as “Blood and Holly,” and camping trips with his Boy Scout troop, where the young adventurers practiced the fine points of such useful adult skills as smoking, gambling, and sleeping late.
Jaston Williams talks with Bob Stevenson.
